Garner Health is a FREE benefit for members enrolled in the PAISBOA HBT's PPO or High-Deductible medical plans.* It helps you find the best doctors while lowering out-of-pocket medical expenses.

With Garner's doctor search tool, you can easily find high-quality, in-network Top Providers - doctors proven to follow best practices, make accurate diagnoses, and deliver excellent results. When you visit a Top Provider, you may receive reimbursement through their Garner Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), helping to offset out-of-pocket costs. Garner will help cover up to $1,000 for individuals or up to $2,000 for families.**

* Plan participants enrolled in an HMO plan are not eligible to participate in Garner Health, as they benefit from built-in care coordination through their primary care physician.
** Plan participants enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) must first pay out-of-pocket toward their health plan's deductible before being reimbursed by Garner. In 2026, the IRS minimum deductible is $1,700 for individuals and $3,400 for families.
